Guatemalan green coffee · Traceable micro-lots for independent roasters

Green coffee · From Guatemala, in English

Guatemalan green coffee in micro-lots, without filling a container

We source traceable micro-lots — Geisha, Pacamara, Maragogype, Caturra — from four Guatemalan regions and consolidate small volumes into shared shipments, so independent roasters can buy direct from origin. We roast these same coffees ourselves, so every lot is cupped by people who have to stand behind it.

What we're sourcing

Availability changes with each harvest — these are the origins our program works with. Request the current offer list for lot sizes, cupping notes and pricing.

How it works

  1. 01

    Request samples

Tell us your volume and the lots you're curious about. We reply with our current offer list and cupping samples of what's available.

  2. 02

    Cup and confirm

Roast and cup the samples with your team. When a lot makes your menu, we confirm volume, price and terms in writing.

  3. 03

    Consolidate and ship

Your lot travels in a consolidated shipment with other roasters' coffee, so you don't need to fill a container. A pre-shipment sample confirms quality before it leaves Guatemala.

Green coffee FAQ

What is the minimum order for green coffee?

Our model is built for small lots: because we consolidate several roasters' coffee into shared shipments, you don't need to fill a container. Minimums depend on the lot and destination, so tell us your volume and we'll confirm what's possible — single-bag purchases are often viable within a consolidation.

Can I get samples before committing?

Yes — sampling always comes first. Request samples with the form and we'll send cupping samples of the lots that match your interest, with their specs. If you move forward, a pre-shipment sample of the actual lot confirms quality before export.

When is the Guatemalan coffee harvest?

Harvest runs roughly from November–December to April depending on region and altitude: lower regions pick first, and high-altitude areas like Huehuetenango finish latest. Milling and export follow, so fresh-crop shipments typically reach the US and Europe between April and September.

Which regions and varieties do you work with?

Our current sourcing mirrors what we roast ourselves, all from the Verapaces (Anacafé's Rainforest Cobán region): Caturra from Cubulco and Bourbon from Rabinal in Baja Verapaz, Pacamara and Maragogype from San Jerónimo, and Geisha, Maragogype and honey- and natural-process Caturra from Santa Cruz Verapaz in Alta Verapaz — every lot traceable to producer, farm and altitude.

What shipping terms do you quote?

Guatemalan green coffee is typically quoted FOB Puerto Quetzal, and that's the reference we usually quote; we'll work out the terms that fit your shipment and destination. Green coffee travels in 69 kg bags, with protective liners for specialty lots.
